I Drove the Protagonist to Darkness (To Be Revised)

A proud, warmhearted, straight-laced senior disciple bottom VS a devoted, love-starved protagonist top who is forced to turn evil.

After transmigrating into a book, the bottom faces a dilemma: the protagonist and the villain both fall into the water. Who do you save?

In the original story, he is the protagonist and villain's senior disciple, born into a noble family, rich, foolishly self-sacrificing, and doting on his poor, lowborn junior disciple, the protagonist.

By choosing to save the protagonist, he turns the villain evil and gets hacked to pieces, leaving no corpse behind. The world is plunged into chaos as a result.

Learning his fate leaves the senior disciple breathless. He quietly begins working to change the world.

The protagonist may be gifted, but I can't praise him. I can only praise the villain.

The protagonist may have grown so accustomed to my saintly ways that he no longer knows the dangers of the world, but I can't go adventuring with him. It would enrage the villain.

The protagonist may look at me with pleading, desperate eyes, but I can't save him. The villain will turn evil!

Years later, his efforts have paid off.

He holds the villain's hand and watches the protagonist, so dark he seems ready to smoke, with deep concern. “Darling! I'll give you anything you want! Please think twice about destroying the world!”

“Say something! Why do you keep staring at me?”

He fears tears, but not blades.
