The author's new novel, Fake Delicate Flower, is now open for follows. Please add it to your collection.
The moment the person before her lifted her veil beneath the red wedding candles, Chu Ruochen smiled. Dressed in a red wedding gown, she was like the blazing sun of spring. The world was right: she, Chu Ruochen, was lucky.
The words spoken on the day the person who proposed the imperial marriage first raised the idea still rang in her ears:
"Your Majesty, I hear the Marquis of Dingguo will be heading to the northern frontier after the New Year. Why not ask him today whether he has someone in his heart, then arrange a marriage? Having someone to think of will make him more cautious on the battlefield, especially since the old Marquis of Dingguo has no other heirs. I think the second young lady of the Chu family would be a good choice. Though she is adopted, Madam Chu has raised her with great care over the years, and her character seems quite good to me."
Author's note: My writing may fall short, but the story will make up for it.
About this novel: When Mu Yan first met Tang Ying, she was a young maid serving Consort Rou. Everyone else saw only Consort Rou's breathtaking beauty, but he alone noticed the lovely face beneath the little maid's frail appearance, along with her sharp and brilliant mind. He felt deeply for her and took delight in her.
When Mu Yan left Tang Ying, she had already become Lady Tang, one of the Emperor's women. In the snow, she stood beneath the plum blossom tree with the Emperor, one in front of the other. The usually imposing Son of Heaven turned around, took off his cloak, and gently draped it over Lady Tang's shoulders.

1. This is a fictional historical setting. Everything serves the plot.
2. A slow-burn story with a gradual romance. Nobody is perfect.
3. I'll add more if I think of anything. Sending love.
Main character: Tang Ying
Theme:
I feel like the writing is still relatively immature. It is best to have separators when changing scenes, otherwise it will look tired and abrupt. If there is too little psychological description, it will appear that some things happen abruptly, and the emotional lines are excessive and unnatural. Otherwise, side descriptions will be very laborious. The most obvious feeling in the whole book is that a novel of 1 million words can be compressed into 600,000 words. But I'm confused as to why the queen sent the heroine to the dragon's bed? It feels unprofitable. Concubine Rou's rebirth did not change her fate, which is very sad.
