My other ongoing story, "Climbing the Golden Bough," could use some favorites!
Gu Shaozhen was sent to live in Jinling City soon after he was born. A child with no mother to love him, he grew up gloomy, cold, solemn, and taciturn.
As he lay on his sickbed, his skin was pale as paper, his lips red as fire, and his dark eyes seemed to hold a cunning insight into everything.
Wen Liangliang shivered and explained, "Don't worry. Once you recover, we'll divorce."
Gu Shaozhen gritted his teeth and used all his strength to suppress his fervent longing. "Fine, let's divorce!"
After their divorce, Gu Shaozhen thought that one day Wen Liangliang would come back to him in tears.
He waited and waited, growing increasingly restless and unable to sit still.
Until he pretended to be sick in bed, and Wen Liangliang held his hand, crying so hard she could barely catch her breath, her eyes glistening.
He clasped her soft hand, his gaze burning. "Bring me good luck with another wedding ceremony."
Wen Liangliang wiped away her tears, and the soft shawl slipped from her shoulders.
Gu Shaozhen's cheeks flushed. He coughed, then said, "My lady, save me..."
The first time he truly loathed his frail body was when he saw Wen Liangliang.
She was like the morning sun, brimming with life as she gracefully stepped down from the carriage. Her soft, mist-blue gauze dress enveloped her like a veil of mist, dreamy and unreal.
P.S. 1. The hero is black-hearted through and through. 2. The heroine is soft on the outside but strong within. 3. They're made for each other.
"Climbing the Golden Bough," blurb:
Chen Huairou was a beautiful, pampered young lady of the Duke of Pei's household, blessed with stunning looks and grace.
One careless mistake, and she fell into a man's hands.
Later, that man seemed to run into her everywhere.
Chen Huairou was baffled. "Lord Jiang, what exactly are you trying to do?"
Jiang Yuanbai's face burned, but he kept a perfectly straight face. "Arou, do you still want me?"
In the past, Chen Huairou had treated him with warmth and eagerness, only to be met with his icy response: "Please stop insulting me."
She'd wasted her best years on him. If she ever went back, she might as well be a dog.
Chen Huairou held up an umbrella, its surface shimmering coldly, and looked down at Jiang Yuanbai as he stood in the rain. "I don't want you anymore. Get lost!"
The rain fell relentlessly, the air bitterly cold, and Jiang Yuanbai swayed.
Chen Huairou turned back and added, "If you're going to stand there, move farther away. Don't block my front door."
What's the greatest regret in the world?
When she's serious, you find her annoying. When she leaves, you start acting like a fool and wanting her back.

Why write the second male lead so affectionately?
Every time I see Song Yucong, I always think of that time in Jinling
What is this?????
I just discovered the fairy articles. I am obsessed with ancient Chinese poetry recently, but the collections of the articles that attract me the most are not very good. I am quite puzzled by this. I am not trying to criticize them. Some people really have thousands of collections because of their indescribable writing. I really like it. Come on, author! I want to see steamed buns
Leave a claw, I want to stock up on health, hehe.
