A sincere, earnest scholar tries to explain things to his worthy younger brother,
while a lovestruck girl pours all her tenderness and resentment into Shanbo.
A tragic, heartbreaking story
changes when Yuan Weian gets involved by accident, hoping to help.
Is it a blessing, or a curse?
A swing in the shade, a dream suddenly appearing...
A Zhu Yingtai who avoids Shanbo and instead draws close to someone else.
A Liang Shanbo who studies earnestly, yet earns Yingtai's disdain.
A Yuan Weian who has nothing better to do than witness the story of Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai.
So, in the end...
Who lost whose heart?
Who misplaced whose heart?
Who found whose heart?
