[Chinese Cartoon Crossover] My Husband Is Penniless

I, Ye Ruo, female, age **, have an incompetent younger brother (Ye Yan) and an unreliable master I've known for N years, who never fails to act up whenever we meet.

I was born beautiful, but unfortunately, money and I are natural enemies. The more money I have, the more trouble I attract.

Still, I need enough to cover my basic expenses, so poor me has to juggle several jobs, and I don't dare ask for much pay.

Life is so hard.

And that's not all.

Recently, a fox spirit and an idiot have been chasing me around, insisting that we renew our bond. Fine, they work for Tushan, and you don't mess with a powerful organization, so I'll play along.

But

You didn't freaking tell me renewing the bond costs money!

Heroine: Sorry, I'm broke. I'm not renewing it. :)

As it happens, the person I'm supposed to renew the bond with is also "flat broke," and he's the same ex-boyfriend who used his family fortune as an excuse to break up. He's so "free of worldly desires," why bother renewing the bond at all?

So, excitedly, I went to discuss a peaceful resolution to a romance that hadn't even happened yet, and

He actually tricked me into marrying him!!! (Breaks down)

What is wrong with this guy?! (Throws a fit!)

Hero: I'm not flat broke. My family... is actually pretty well-off.

Heroine: Then maybe I'll reconsider.

Later...

Heroine (smiling): Who the hell told me he was "flat broke"? Come out and take your beating! You call this "flat broke"?! (Voice cracks)

Hero (looking innocent): I told you, my family is pretty well-off.
