Back then, she wasn't Meng Po yet. She was an innocent, kind-hearted young girl.
That year, a chance act of meddling brought her into contact with him. From then on, she was drawn into a conflict and gradually began to uncover the scars left by her family.
Later, she became Meng Po.
For many years before that, Bao Shu's life had been as still as stagnant water. Even the mud at the bottom had given up and couldn't be bothered to move.
