(I've really hit a bit of a wall writing this. I'm going to rewatch Natsume's Book of Friends to find some inspiration. When I come back, I'll definitely give them an ending.)
Natsume Takashi has been able to see yokai since childhood. After his parents died, he was passed from one household to another because of the yokai, until the kind Fujiwara couple adopted him and his life gradually settled down. After inheriting the Book of Friends left behind by his grandmother, Natsume met its guardian, Madara, and made many close friends at school. His life also came to include many friendly yokai. By chance, deep in the forest near town, he unsealed the sleeping yokai Hanhi and made a contract with her. As they spent more time together, he grew increasingly curious about this beautiful yokai. What kind of sparks will fly between these two gentle souls, and who will appear as Hanhi's identity is gradually revealed...?
Although this is based on Natsume's Book of Friends, the dialogue and scenes are all made up by the author. Please don't expect them to match canon.
A slice-of-life story with a healing feel. The female lead is like a classical beauty from ancient China. The author just loves seeing one beauty with another. Whether there'll be a second male lead and such depends entirely on my mood.
I lose all motivation when no one comments!!!
