There are five Founding Masters of the Five Elements. Tens of thousands of years ago, one of them deviated from the righteous path of cultivation and eventually fell into the demonic path, becoming evil. The demons ran rampant in the human world, plunging everything into chaos.
The other four Founding Masters joined forces and finally destroyed the Demon Realm. But after exhausting their strength, they were devoured by dark energy and died. Their descendants sealed the passage and have guarded the world ever since.
Many years passed, and the seal gradually weakened. Many people were bewitched and fell into the demonic path, secretly helping to undo the seal. When their descendants discovered this, they immediately tracked them down and killed them all.
Times changed. More and more people began to 'help' prevent the demons from invading, in order to keep the world safe. People learned that demons existed because of a disaster: when the demons first entered the human world, they killed many people. Fortunately, some brave people with special abilities stood up to them. Otherwise, everyone would have been wiped out. Back then, no one knew their descendants existed.
