The Royal Uncle Wants a Free Meal (Reborn)

This fic is my embarrassing early work. Don't read it. Recommended: The Tyrant's Exclusive Demon Consort (Transmigrate into a Book), available in my author profile. The blurb: Lin Yuen transmigrates into the book The Empress and becomes a cannon-fodder supporting female character. Though the beauty is peerless, she brings about the fall of the kingdom by beguiling the ruler. In the end, public outrage leads to her being offered as a sacrifice to Heaven. Bound to the sacrificial altar and utterly despairing, Lin Yuen sees the Prince of Wu, Fang Jingyan, leading the rebel army. That eccentric tyrant who never married in his entire life. So, Lin Yuen clings to a pillar and cries out to Fang Jingyan, "Your Highness, Prince of Wu! My heart is devoted to you! I seduced Emperor Jing so you could become the new emperor. Now that Emperor Jing is dead, I have no face to go on living. What a pity that the child in my belly, our child..." Lin Yuen gives it everything she's got, acting as if there's no turning back. Fang Jingyan below can only stare up at her with a face full of disbelief. "My child?" A few days later, the whole city is buzzing with the news that Emperor Jing has been cuckolded and the Prince of Wu has suddenly become a father. But the truth is... Fang Jinyan: My child turned into your period? Lin Yuen: Your Majesty, let me explain! Just as everyone is gossiping that this wicked consort has once again bewitched the emperor, word spreads that she's also entangled with the emperor of another country. Fang Jinyan (scowling): Just how many good little brothers do you have? Lin Yuen (on the verge of tears): I swear to the author, His Highness Nicholas, I absolutely did not steal the female lead's script! Everyday skit: Lin Yuen (half-heartedly resisting): "Your Majesty, this isn't right. I belong to Emperor Jing." Fang Jinyan (playing along): "Choose one: be buried with Emperor Jing, or become my consort." Lin Yuen (forcing a smile): "Your Majesty, a gentleman doesn't take what belongs to another." Fang Jinyan (coldly): "I'm no gentleman, and you're no beauty." "???" Theme:
