A call from her best friend led her to take up portrait photography again.
From sitting beside him in class to setting out for the ends of the earth, from all corners of the world to this most bustling city,
she met him again...
And now, his scenery was finally within reach.
She still used the same camera brand; that had never changed.
But she had gone from being a student to a professional.
She rarely took portraits anymore, mostly landscape photos:
great rivers and seas, towering mountains and vast deserts.
The portraits she had taken when he was by her side had become rare treasures, memories and history.
Because of him, she no longer wanted to take portraits.
He was the best person in her life.
But he no longer took landscape photos.
For all the beautiful scenery in the world, there was no longer a her beside him to adorn it.
