"I kicked over a bucket of red glass
Red as crimson drops of blood
Clear as the ice on a winter's day
When my heart boils
Blood and tears stain the tips of my shoes
I crush my unease and endurance underfoot
The sun is about to rise, but has yet to appear
The waning moon seems to have set, yet still lingers
The bright white beam of a lamp stabs my eyes like a sword
When my heart grows cold and still
My throat is stained with shards of glass"
