(I'm a Big Brother) The Barbershop That Started from Scratch

A super-short self-indulgent fic: A barber shop owner finds a talkative stray cat. Is this a reference to the cast of From Today, It's My Turn!? Takitani Genji becomes a barber shop owner, Kyoro Tetsu becomes a manga artist, and Washio Kota joins the yakuza and fights to the death with everyone who looks down on him, even if they're high school girls.

P.S. After finishing Crows Zero, I went back and watched From Today, It's My Turn!, and it really is hard to figure out how all these private schools for delinquents can coexist. Come to think of it, aren't delinquents usually a specialty of low-quality public schools...? Anyway, moving the timeline to the '90s means a lot of these private schools can probably go bankrupt without a hitch. Yay!

A little private-setting easter egg (Hey!): Kyoro Tetsu pursues his dream of becoming a manga artist. Under the pen name Kuroyanagi Tetsu, he writes a manga called Crows Zero that becomes a nationwide sensation. Its art style, before the One-Punch Man reboot, spoils a great deal of the barber shop owner's youth, and single-handedly makes delinquent culture shine in the youth of the next generation.

Heroine: Oh, so I grew up listening to your stories.
