Shen Xingjun has little faith in her own love life.
But she loves stories where lovers find their way to a happy ending.
As the head of a new school of matchmakers, with an astonishingly broad acting range and outstanding performances, she quietly pulls strings around all the heroines, bringing one perfect couple after another together.
"I rather like this Hidden Fire Prince. I wonder if his fate has a suitable match in store for him?"
Munching on snacks, she excitedly flips open the new script, only to find the words on the first page: Match: Shen Xingjun.
Shen Xingjun bundles up her things and runs.
Years later, the tale of a legendary pair of sworn enemies is known to everyone. Hidden Fire, the Third Prince of the Heavenly Palace, and Chi Xin, the Dragon Clan's eldest princess, went from love to hatred and became bitter enemies. The Celestial Realm is in turmoil, wracked by endless conflict.
Shen Xingjun has been retired for years, but this challenge, difficulty level 1.0, has her itching to get back to work. What's more, Empress Xiangyan secretly asks her to come out of retirement.
So she takes one giant step right into someone else's trap.
"I give up... I've lived this long, and this is the first time I've seen someone throw her own sister under the bus this badly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
