Rebellious Disciple

Lin Zhushuang found a bright, pretty child and raised her by her side, taking her as an apprentice and naming her Wangyue.

Wangyue was smarter than children her age from the start, and her skill and cultivation improved by leaps and bounds every day. Lin Zhushuang valued her greatly.

Everyone knew that this apprentice always listened to her master, never going west when told to go east.

But who could have guessed that she would...!

"Zhushuang, I'm all grown up now, and I want to marry you."

"You...!" Lin Zhushuang raises her ruler at the woman before her, who doesn't so much as blink. "Say that again!"

Years later, Lin Zhushuang runs into a senior apprentice sister she hasn't seen in a long time.

Senior sister: "Zhushuang, they say your apprentice is exceptionally talented and treats you very well. Is that true?"

Lin Zhushuang's face turns bright red as she struggles to get out: "That disobedient apprentice of mine... She wants to rebel against me every single night!"
