After the apocalypse, Shi Zhang was lucky enough to get a pocket dimension. But he'd barely had a few days to use it when he woke from a nap and discovered he'd become a newborn wolf pup on the grasslands of a highland in another world...

As a wolf, Shi Zhang tries hard to adapt to his new life. At last, he grows a little and his teeth come in, but his wolf mother stops nursing him and wants him to eat regurgitated food. Oh, no. No, thank you!

With a whimper, he stashes his wolf mother's overwhelming love in his pocket dimension. He manages to scrape by on the dwindling supply of milk and the rice and flour in his pocket dimension until the day he meets the pack and gets to eat fresh raw meat. Aw, raw meat makes me happy (not really)...

As Shi Zhang grows bigger, he discovers that, as a wolf, his sense of smell is terrible. He thinks he's done for. If he can't smell where the prey is, how will he find anything to eat? He'll probably starve to death someday...
