Love You, Sweet and Sweeter

Next novel to write: Marrying Miss Lin

There's a bar on Wutong Street called "Old Friends, Close Hearts."

According to people who've been there, the owner is surnamed Lin. She's stunning but easygoing, likes to dress all in black, and always has a little boy with her.

Some also say that the owner smokes and drinks heavily in private, had a child out of wedlock, suffers from a mental illness, and brings misfortune to everyone around her.

One day, Boss Lin gets married in a whirlwind wedding to a man she met for the first time at a blind date.

He's a thoracic surgeon named Xu, a graduate of a prestigious university, from a wealthy family, and a man of impeccable character. Most importantly, he's incredibly handsome.

In the eyes of others, Dr. Xu is perfect in every way, except for his poor taste. With such a good catch, why would he marry a woman who has nothing but her beauty and a child in tow?

Yet Lin Wenxin, one of the people involved, thinks the same thing.

*

At first, Lin Wenxin has a simple and malicious reason for marrying Xu Jiang: she wants to drag this man down into the abyss with her.

Later, Lin Wenxin realizes she doesn't have to do anything. Xu Jiang is perfectly willing to sink with her.

One-on-one, healing after marriage, bittersweet and sweet

Blurb:

Years after they parted, the day Shen He is reunited with him, a story accusing her of bullying a female costar from the same production until she jumped to her death makes the headlines after being leaked anonymously.

A colleague gossips, "Dr. Xu, do you think Miss Shen is really that cruel?"

Xu Yang says, "She is."

*

The two things Shen He regrets most are getting involved with Xu Yang in school, and not transferring hospitals immediately after waking up from her car accident.

A reporter asks, "What kind of man do you like, Miss Shen?"

Shen He says, "Anyone as long as he isn't a doctor."

The next day, a photo of Shen He passionately kissing a man in a white coat appears online.

Everyone at the hospital thinks Dr. Xu hates Shen He.

One day, a colleague goes looking for Xu Yang, then runs back to the office looking incredulous. "Dr. Xu is actually promoting Shen He online!"

"I saw Shen He stickers on Dr. Xu's phone yesterday, too."
