The Little Mute Who Stumbled into a Tycoon’s Family

**A little scene**

On the day of the engagement banquet, Ning Yan, the second young master of the Ning family, abandons his mute fiancee and drags his uncle, Ning Zhiyan, to a bar. Once thoroughly drunk, he loudly declares that he won't let an arranged marriage tie him down for the rest of his life.

Ning Zhiyan patiently soothes him, repeatedly encouraging him to gather the courage to refuse the marriage. When he looks up, he realizes the mute fiancee has found them.

Xia Zhimian is still wearing her engagement dress, the tip of her nose slightly red. Amid the noisy bar, she looks like a cool, lovely white flower. She smiles politely at Ning Zhiyan and signs, "Make him jump off right now, and he won't have to get married."

Ning Zhiyan understands and smiles too. Supporting Ning Yan, who is dead drunk, he says, "All right, let's go."

He lays Ning Yan across the back seat of the car, then has Xia Zhimian sit in the passenger seat. After locking the doors, he leans over to fasten her seat belt.

The heater stirs the suggestive air inside the car. His exceptionally handsome face stops right in front of Xia Zhimian, and temptation lurks in his eyes, like a deep pool luring her under.

Xia Zhimian's breathing turns uneven, but Ning Zhiyan leans closer and asks, "Want a kiss? Like last time?"

A sleepy mumble comes from Ning Yan as he turns over in the back seat. Xia Zhimian snaps out of her daze and turns away, but Ning Zhiyan gently pinches her chin and whispers in her ear, "Don't worry. He can't see us."
