An adult version of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Readers under eighteen may also read it.
Blurb One:
Tao Zhi woke up to find herself in a graveyard.
She had a few bills on her and a line of text:
"You've been reported missing. Don't let it know you're still alive. Run!"
She shuddered and took off running.
You can't get by without money, so Tao Zhi had to figure out how to earn a living while on the run.
But even when she tried selling roasted sweet potatoes on the street, people turned their noses up at her.
"Even beggars have QR codes these days, and you only take cash? No thanks."
She felt like life was impossible.
On her penniless wanderings, she also met Fu Feng, who had climbed over the wall of a psychiatric hospital and insisted he wasn't crazy; Chao Wei, an undercover agent who claimed he'd spent three years in deep cover, then another three, and couldn't reveal himself; and Shu Qian, who'd lost tens of millions playing cards, been blacklisted for unpaid debts, and was now hunted by creditors every day.
Damn it, they were all deadweight who couldn't use their real names.
She had completely lost faith in this world.
The group ran from east to west and north to south, losing their hair every day as they worried about how to make some money without being discovered.
Blurb Two:
Let us reveal the truth about a real Beggars' Guild:
Chao Wei [with a cold expression]: What Beggars' Guild? I'm actually a police officer.
Fu Feng [smiling faintly]: Officer, could you pass me my umbrella? I'm about to start pretending to be a mushroom.
Shu Qian [warmly inviting him]: Hey, Mushroom, want to play Fight the Landlord?
Tao Zhi [shouting herself hoarse]: All of you, go out and make me some money!
1. A wandering story across land, sea, and air. The focus is on leveling up and fighting monsters. A silly story with little logic. Starts before Singles' Day.
2. I picked the tags at random, so don't pay them any attention.
