Why Is It So Hard to Be a Scumbag?

In his previous life, the bottom fell for a scumbag and was used by him until he died.

He'd been raised in the countryside from a young age, so he was naive and easy to deceive. The scumbag he fell for was a lawyer, a distant relative's appointed executor of his estate. In his previous life, the man took advantage of his feelings to swindle him out of his entire inheritance, tricked him into making himself the beneficiary of his insurance policy, then successfully murdered him with his lover to claim the estate.

After being reborn, he set out to get revenge. He went from a rustic country boy to a rich young man of high society after a period of grueling, closed-door training. Completely transformed, he resolved to become a scumbag everyone would hate: the kind who toyed with people's feelings without taking their money, because he had plenty of his own.

His first target was the agent he'd hired for his company. After seducing him into bed, he got dressed and walked away the next morning, then fired him. Then came the second, the third... Only after breaking the heart of his fourth man did he gradually realize that all these men were the same person.

Bottom: ...

Top (with deep affection): I love you.

The bottom calmly pulls up his pants: Get lost.

This is a story about a heartless seducer, and also a sad tale of how a man can never become a truly competent scumbag.

This is the blurb for now. I'll revise it later. Shamelessly asking everyone who likes this story to add it to their reading list. A deep bow~
