The Flower-Viewing Shrine Maiden

I cradle a small black flower and take tiny steps along the street after the rain. My slightly chubby frame walks through the gray mist, where no light shines. My steps are light, and the little black flower trembles in my arms, as if it too is immersed in the joy of reunion. Every year around this time, I return to Nanyuan.

Nanyuan, a place full of green trees.
