Everyone Thinks I'm Playing the Pig to Catch the Tiger [JX3]

[No idea when this will start]

Qiao Qi thinks that with the skills from Jian Wang 3, he's no longer a total noob. By the usual script, even if the next setting is a cultivation world, he should be able to make a name for himself. And even if he can't reach the top, he can still enjoy the easygoing life of a happy slacker.

But something about the character setup he's been given seems off...

System: From now on, you'll face even harsher trials.

Qiao Qi: Oh.

System: Your skills will be sealed. They will only activate when your life is in danger.

Qiao Qi: Oh... Wait, System, is our bond really that flimsy? We've been through more than a dozen wuxia worlds together, after all!

The System had no interest in dealing with him. It tossed him into a random place, then went dormant.

Qiao Qi must complete three tasks in every world:

[Task One: Find yourself a best buddy]

[Task Two: Take down someone with a combat rating of at least A]

[Task Three: Even though I never show up, my legend is everywhere in the martial world]

Qiao Qi, truly too weak to even truss a chicken, does his best to complete the tasks without getting beaten up.

Bonus scene:

Qiao Qi witnesses the Poison Master, whose identity has yet to be revealed, secretly conferring with disciples of the Ten Thousand Poisons Sect: ...

The Poison Master, now exposed, finally makes his move against Qiao Qi.

The very next moment, Qiao Qi's sect skills activate because his life is in danger, and he sends the Poison Master flying.

Everyone: ... Weren't you supposed to be a weakling?!

Everyone thinks I'm pretending to be crazy and clueless, playing the fool to catch the tiger. The truth is, it's all a huge misunderstanding.

1. One sect is unlocked in each world. You can only use its skills when your life is in danger. The rest of the time, you're an ordinary person.

2. Although this is supposed to be a cultivation arc, it will also include some fantasy and magical settings. It will mainly draw on the TV adaptations, with plenty of original worldbuilding. Don't get hung up on the historical details. There's no outline, but all the sects will still appear.
