~||Synopsis||~
Red-braised pork and crystal pork knuckle, the Shu family's wife makes them with deft hands.
Shu Yiqin thinks he has married a virtuous woman, and feels content and delighted.
But as time goes by, Shu Yiqin realizes that his wife's menu seems to consist entirely of rich, nourishing, greasy dishes. She appears determined to make him grow “sturdy.”
…
Only by chance does he learn that the fair maiden in his wife's heart is actually a chubby boy!
“How can this woman's eyes be so bad?”
Shu Yiqin complains inwardly, yet still smiles as he picks up a piece of pork belly and puts it in his mouth.
A little oily, but tender and delicious.
Shi Xiaoxiao looks at him, hopeful and satisfied.
[1. How did the Shu family's wife's peculiar taste develop?]
[2. How can a husband who considers himself something of a handsome man escape the fate of being fattened up?]
