A Stranger in Valoran

“It seems fate has laid out this chessboard for me, while I am nothing but a pawn with no control over my own moves.

But the truth is, I'm just a stranger far from home, longing to return.”

LOL player Wanli transmigrates to Valoran after stepping through time by accident, and begins her life as an outsider in Noxus.

Unfriendly characters and a dangerous, chaotic world repeatedly drag her into the whirlpool of politics and conspiracy.

Each trial and experience nearly leaves her broken beyond repair.

As she feels her way through a dark world, a love that is “tender and cruel” quietly draws near.

A political landscape rife with scheming, wars drenched in blood, and a romance built on lies.

She grows up in this era.

A female-oriented League of Legends novel, BG, with an original female lead and a serious romantic storyline.

Not an esports novel, and not a retelling of the official lore. Read with caution!!!

Originally serialized in the League of Legends Novel Forum in 2015, it was rewritten two years later and moved here as a kind of “reboot.”

Because of the original setting, this story follows and adapts the old backstory.
