The four corners of the sky, blue and dim,
Verdure withers and falls away.
Who stands among the nine tiers,
Returning to the rails to listen to the wind all night?
Alas, the pond is deep, the moat deeper,
And dawn has already begun to glow.
Heartfelt words,
Like the stars in this sky.
?
A matriarchal continent, home to a frail little kingdom. The young queen's personal guard is made up of thirty-five carefully selected men. Tall and strong, they form a formidable, highly trained force, but maintaining them is an extravagant luxury. No one in the kingdom but the queen can afford such a guard. This means the men forfeit their right to marry and have children. Though no one says it outright, they are already her men, part of her harem.
?
Other than men being able to bear children, men and women are unchanged in body and mind.
The male lead is the captain of the guard, and the female lead is a capable but beleaguered ruler who both torments and pampers him.
Writing about ordinary people, as I did in Autumn Frost, was really hard for me. This story will be very short, very short, and the style will be quite distinctive. Some readers may not like it.
Theme:
Silently asking: Where can I watch Qiu Yue now?
It's so well written. When I read the postscript, I thought of the Frost Flower Shop I've seen, and I almost cried QAQ~~
I really like the writing style, cheers for you (???_??)?
Come on(???_??)?
