The Insectoid Race: When Memories Awaken

This story will be published on April 9. There will be three chapters on release day. Reposting is prohibited. Synopsis: This is a world of Sentinels and Guides. Sentinels: Their five senses are keen, their bodies are strong, and they are comparable to human weapons. Guides: They are somewhat weaker physically but possess powerful mental abilities. They can erect mental barriers and soothe Sentinels' emotions. Every Sentinel or Guide has a psychic beast. Anyone without one is an ordinary person. After losing his memory, Di Lin always thought he was an ordinary person. Until one day, he suddenly remembered everything... He wasn't an ordinary person. Of course, he wasn't a Sentinel or a Guide, either. He was a male insect, from a highly advanced insect race in a distant, alternate universe. And his wife, the female soldier who had come to this world with him after an accident, seemed to have become a Sentinel? And not just any Sentinel, but the notorious Dark Sentinel of this world? Di Lin thought he might need to pay this "Sentinel" a proper visit and talk about the profound union that had once caused a sensation throughout the insect race. Of course, it was also time to remind the other party to fulfill their marital obligations, which had been on hold for five years. A male insect duke disguised as a Guide, top x a proud, aloof female insect who used to be a Sentinel, bottom [Di Lin An August x Dean] [This is a related side-couple series to He's Not a Scumbag Insect. It is mainly told from the top's perspective, with a powerful, beautiful 1v1 pairing and a happy ending. The story is not set in insect society. It's a nontraditional insect-race story, with a focus on interstellar travel.] Reader's guide: 1. The setting is a Sentinel and Guide world. Sentinels and Guides together make up one tenth of the population, and the ratio of Sentinels to Guides is 3:1. Although the story uses this setting, it has little to do with the leads' romance. The leads are basically overpowered. 2. The social genders are male and female. Only heterosexual couples can have children; there is no male-male childbirth. Of course, this has nothing to do with the leads either, since they're aliens. 3. Sentinels attend a school specifically for Sentinels called the Tower, while Guides attend a school specifically for Guides called the White Tower. Ordinary people follow the usual social conventions. Again, this has nothing to do with the leads. They've already graduated, thank you. Theme: Science and technology are the primary productive forces.
