The Third Year of My Marriage to Tsunayoshi

Next up, a second-person novel: “[Wind Breaker] Sakura Says It’s All My Fault He’s Had a Low-Grade Fever for So Long.” Blurb at the bottom. . My name is Kuriyama Hanayori. I’m twenty-two years old. On the surface, I’m a housewife who spends money with reckless abandon. Behind the scenes, I’m the director of the Special Ability Division. Three years ago, at my mother’s insistence, I went on a blind date. (I’d also turned down Senior Ango, saying I had a husband at home and didn’t want to work overtime.) I’m now living happily with my former upperclassman and current husband, Tsuna-kun. It’s not an earth-shattering romance, and we even slipped into an old-married-couple routine ahead of schedule. My husband is gentle by nature, even a little meek. If there’s a cockroach in the house, I’m the one who grabs a slipper and smacks it dead. Tsuna-kun hides on the sofa, trembling and telling me to buy bug spray. But I’m not unhappy with this life. I sincerely hope we can keep living in peace. One day, I had an urgent assignment and needed to oversee security for an exchange between the Port Mafia and the Italian Mafia. Just before I left. Me: “I’m meeting Mrs. Saiki from next door to watch movies all night, so I might not be home tonight.” Tsuna-kun: “I have a business trip to Kanagawa today, so I might be gone for several days.” I felt terribly guilty about lying to Tsuna-kun and thought I should come clean one day. But then I was standing at the main entrance of the Port Mafia building when I came face to face with Tsuna-kun, in a suit and surrounded by a whole bunch of underlings just like me. CP: 270 I wrote this for fun, just to indulge myself. It’ll be under 300,000 words. I wanted to write a story for my male idol. First-person romance. [Don’t argue with me, don’t be a killjoy, and don’t give me writing advice. There are major changes and out-of-character portrayals.] [Important: Please don’t mention me under other people’s stories. I’m begging you.] Full title: The Little Things That Happened During My Third Year of Marriage to Tsuna-kun Blurb saved on: 2020/02/08 “[Wind Breaker] Sakura Says It’s All My Fault He’s Had a Low-Grade Fever for So Long” Dog Guy said my job was simple: set up a backup base like Kokuyo. Me: “Got it. Basically, I find someone with impressive skills, make him a puppet and put him in charge like Brother Mukuro, while I stay behind the scenes as the real boss. Then I act weak in front of people I don’t know, and pick some crappy house as our base, right? It sounds a little hard, but I’ll do my best.” Dog: “Do we really have to go to all that trouble, you idiot… Uh… yeah, that’s right.” Dog Guy said solemnly and anxiously, “You don’t have to copy Lord Mukuro in everything. You have your own style. Oh, and take a look at this assassination guide for women. It’ll double your success rate. Make sure you’ve learned it by the next time I see you.” Anyway, I was supposed to find someone easy to control and skilled enough to use as a puppet, but I don’t know Mukuro’s control techniques. I opened the book to the first page: It’s easy to control someone’s mind. Just use a weak appearance to lower their guard, approach them at an imperceptible speed, and flatter them when they’re thoroughly charmed. Me, reading aloud in a deadpan voice: “Sakura, you’re really amazing. At this rate, becoming Wind Breaker’s No. 1 is a sure thing. Keep it up. I support you.” Sakura, blushing: “Don’t suddenly get so close to me! Back off! And of course I’m going to do it, whether you support me or not. It’s what I want, and it has nothing to do with you!” “Why are you blushing?” “I-I’m not! It’s because… I’m not feeling well today. I have a slight fever. Stop saying weird things!” I shook my head. Sakura met all my requirements, but he was just too weak. He was always coming down with a fever. The book said: To hypnotize someone, you have to keep whispering sweet nothings to them. That’s the only way to make them fall into a blissful haze and go along with your wishes. Once they can no longer resist, repeat your central message one more time, then you can finish them off with a single strike. I’m sure that after hearing me say “Sakura is mine, and what’s yours is mine” so many times, he’s been successfully brainwashed. I’m one step closer to my grand plan. One day, Sakura suddenly appeared holding flowers, his ears red. He awkwardly turned his face away. “…It’s not fair to keep making you say it all the time. This time, it’s my turn. I like you.” “…” “…? Why are you blushing?” Theme: The world is full of different perspectives. Looking at good and bad things from different angles can lead to very different outcomes.
