After the Breakup, All My Exes Went Down in Flames

Yu Ying has had seven relationships. The longest lasted a year, the shortest a few months, and every one ended in a breakup. Her first boyfriend, a sweet young thing, said dating in high school would hurt their studies. The next year, Yu Ying got into a top-tier university, while he failed the college entrance exam and had to repeat a year. Later, all four relationships she had during college ended in failure. The academic who dated her in her first year failed his graduate school entrance exam after they broke up. The rich second-generation heir she dated in her second year saw his family go bankrupt. The young star she dated in her third year was hit by one scandal after another. Just as he was about to become famous, he was declared a has-been. In her final year, she went to a conference and met a fellow writer. They dated for three months before he said their literary tastes were too different and they weren't suited to each other. After they split, his career tanked for a year, and the entire internet mocked him for having run out of ideas. Yes, that's right. Yu Ying is an online novelist who claims she needs a relationship to inspire her creativity, and who would die if she stopped dating. After dumping seven boyfriends in seven years, she met a currently red-hot singer-songwriter, famous across half the country, who could make a living off his looks but insisted on selling his talent instead. ※Reader's Guide※ 1.
