The day before she planned to confess.
Zhi Yi was rejected. The romance never even got started, because the other person wanted to watch the livestream of a man named Duan Xingjia.
Zhi Yi couldn't understand what was so great about some guy. She opened the livestream.
The man had sickly pale skin and couldn't even be bothered to lift his eyelids. In a lazy voice, he talked about his upcoming schedule.
Zhi Yi: "..."
Damn, he really was pretty good-looking.
A year later, she heard that PTT was recruiting a substitute and successfully joined the team. To her surprise, she became a rising star.
But to preserve her mystique, Zhi Yi never showed her face. Her gameplay, which was indistinguishable from Duan Xingjia's, earned her countless fans.
After the match, Zhi Yi went onstage for an interview and saw the person she'd once had a crush on. He was holding up a huge banner with her name, ONE, written on it.
That wasn't all. He even risked rushing backstage to confess to her.
Zhi Yi thought for a moment, took off her mask, and blinked. "Senior, don't you remember who I am?"
Her former crush: "...?"
After Zhi Yi rejected him, an exposé appeared on Weibo.
Famous player PTT-ONE's pursuit of love ends in failure. Humiliated, he has no choice but to take a leave of absence from school.
The post set the internet ablaze with comments.
The next second, esports ace PTT-ROW reposted it: "@PTT-ONE+ Why not take a look at me instead? I have eyes, and I'm a little better than him."
