After being reborn, Zhu Zhu has no grand ambitions. She only hopes to keep far away from that person and avoid repeating the tragedy of her previous life, when she died horribly without ever understanding why. But, oh divine goddess Wa, why can't she escape him no matter what she does? She fought back and begged in her previous life. Why not try doing the opposite this time? Maybe if she goes along with him, he'll grow bored of her, dislike her, get sick of her, and send her back to her family...
Note:
1. This story came from a plot idea I've really wanted to write. After reading so many possessive-love stories where the leads torment, argue with, and love-hate each other, I really wanted to write about a heroine who is reborn and knows fighting back is useless, so she tries going along with the other person instead... I wonder what kind of result that would bring.
2. The heroine won't get smarter just because she's lived a second life.
3. Not many people are reading this, so I'm writing for my own enjoyment. I promise to finish it.
4. An alternate-history ancient setting. Very alternate, extremely alternate.
And now, a divider for my next story:
---The Cure for a Psychopath---
The title can be interpreted in two ways: a psychopath's cure, or a cure for a psychopath. In a way, both interpretations... are correct.
On a disused construction site three intersections away from her school, where she passed every day, Zhou Shu Yan found a little beggar. To be precise, the little beggar lived in a concrete pipe piled up on the site. Every day, Zhou Shu Yan would use her only breakfast yuan to buy two buns, eating one herself and leaving the other on top of the pipe. Sometimes she brought more than buns, like an apple her father had bought.
One day, as she was setting down the buns, the little beggar came out.
The little beggar asked, "Can you take me home?"
Zhou Shu Yan really wanted to help him, but knew clearly that she couldn't. Just as she was about to shake her head and say she was sorry, the little beggar touched her hand and looked into her eyes again.
"You want to take me home, don't you? You can take me home."
Zhou Shu Yan nodded along with him. "Okay."
She didn't expect that saying yes would not only draw the attention of a psychopath, but leave her unable to get rid of him for the rest of her life.
Reader's Guide:
1. A modern alternate-world story. It's a parallel world with people who have supernatural abilities, and there is conflict between ordinary people and those with abilities.
2. The male lead is a deranged, obsessive psychopath with an intense possessive streak.
3. I'll mention other trigger warnings if I think of any.
Theme:
I have read two articles by the author, and they are both very interesting, but the ending is too simple. Although the author said that the sweet pet at the end was boring and did not want to write about it, readers still want to read it 🥺 🥺
Hahahahahahahahahaha The male protagonist is good at self-defeating
I don't know where the love started. It goes deeper and deeper. I mean, the male protagonist, right?
Every time I repaint, I will find some details. After opening the door and being unable to speak for a long time, I must have been stunned by Zhuzhuer [Sunglasses][Sunglasses]
So sweet, so sweet! So pretty! No shortcomings except being short!!! It would be even better if there was a past life episode! 🐰
I really want to watch the excerpts of my past life.
Brain-boosting emperor male protagonist, hahaha
The male protagonist said that your wives will not give gifts after they get married, but my wife does! Actually, haha
I understand, I finally understand, the truth about the male protagonist's love brain is revealed (bushi)
Let's review it again (I still have the urge to comment on this chapter hahaha)
