My Own White Moonlight

Blurb: In her previous life, Wen Chao suffered a sudden calamity at marriageable age, which drastically altered her appearance. Everyone said she was no longer worthy of the elegant young master of the Yun family. Her family had no choice but to break off her engagement and arrange another match for her. Years later, Wen Chao's husband's family fell into disaster, bringing trouble upon her own family as well. While in exile, she met the man who had once been her fiancé. They say you meet an old friend again when you're down on your luck. Wen Chao thought he would only mock her, but instead he took her home and rescued her entire family. He provided them with good food and lodging and sought out renowned doctors to nurse her back to health. Sadly, the hardships she had endured in exile had taken too much out of her. She died less than three months later. As her consciousness faded, Wen Chao thought that if she had another life, she would treat this man well and do everything in her power to grant his every wish. So when she really did get the chance to return to her youth... Wen Chao: "What? The Yun family won't call off the engagement? Fine, I'll marry him." "You want to take a concubine for my husband? Fine, but I'll choose her myself. Someone too ugly wouldn't be good enough for him." "My husband's cousin is short on money? No problem. I'll work hard to make money and send it to him." "What! My husband has someone he loves in his heart? No problem, I'll divorce him... and make room for the woman he loves!" Young Master Yun: "My dear, wait! I've saved the place of Madam Yun for you through two lifetimes. Just sit back and enjoy it!" (The heroine was clueless about love in her previous life, so this is clearly a story about a marriage that turns into love.) Theme: Beauty and longevity make for a win-win.
