I'm Imai Nao, a once-in-a-century kendo prodigy from Japan.

Since I showed an extraordinary talent for martial arts at the age of three, my family always had me live with relatives in Tokyo so I could get better opportunities.

But one ordinary day in my third year of middle school, after winning the national individual kendo championship for the ninth year in a row, I suddenly decided I didn't want to keep pursuing kendo.

I decided to return to my hometown, Chiba, and become an ordinary high school girl. I wanted to experience a normal high school life and make friends while reconnecting with my family.

But I never imagined that Chiba would no longer be the place I remembered.

Where did all these weirdos come from, anyway?!

Oh, I forgot to mention: my brother is one of these weirdos too, and he's the one who always gets beaten up.
