A Deer in the Woods

One-line summary: Sima Jin, a ruthless man, is betrayed by his maid Luming. Reborn, he comes back with ten thousand questions!

Twelve-year-old Luming entered the palace as a maid to make a living. Little did she know her master was a handsome man with a screw loose, alternating between joy and anger, and even looking at her with a mournful, moving gaze. How terrifying!

By the time Luming was eighteen, she completely understood her master's quirks. He was jealous, held grudges, and needed to be coaxed every day. What kind of person was he?

Little scene:

Sima Jin: "Little Deer, are you pleased that I bestowed the name Luming upon you? 'Deer call softly, eating wild apples in the fields.'"

Little Deer: "I'm not very fond of wild apples. They're so sour."

Sima Jin: "How dare you show such disrespect to me!"

Little Deer: "Help! The Great Lord is biting people!"
