The Third Year of Having a Crush on My Childhood Friend

Chen Wenxi, a frail girl, falls for her handsome childhood friend, Xie Jinglin. In her final year of high school, she sees the school beauty confess to him with her own eyes.

The school beauty is sweet and adorable, exactly Xie Jinglin's type. Chen Wenxi assumes he'll accept, but to her surprise, Xie Jinglin turns her down.

After that, students at school suddenly start shipping Chen Wenxi and Xie Jinglin as a crack pairing. Afraid they will discover the secret crush she's been carefully hiding, Chen Wenxi decides to keep her distance from Xie Jinglin.

She stops going to and from school with him, stops going to his house to do homework, and stops messaging him.

Just when Chen Wenxi thinks they'll become strangers, Xie Jinglin finally loses his patience and corners her against a wall. His face is cold as he grits his teeth and asks:

"Avoiding me? Not answering my messages?"

Later, Chen Wenxi admits that there's a boy at school she's liked for two years.

Upon hearing this, Xie Jinglin gives a cold laugh. "A kid who seduces girls at such a young age? He sounds like a real piece of work."

Later still, Xie Jinglin realizes that he's the "piece of work" who seduces girls.
