Doting on a Spy and Making Her Empress

My upcoming historical romance, “The Noble Consort Doesn’t Want to Hold Back,” is a sweet romance. I hope all my lovely readers will continue to support me as always.

Blurb:

A two-faced spy of a bewitching consort x a scheming, restrained emperor

*

Lin Yue was a concubine-born daughter of the prefect’s household. When her legitimate elder sister eloped for love, she “made way” for Lin Yue to enter the palace as a spy for the Regent.

She thought a spy’s job was simply to gather information, never realizing the Regent wanted her to become a thoroughly bewitching consort.

The finest examples of bewitching consorts were Daji and Baosi, but the current emperor hadn’t set foot in the harem for two years!

Lin Yue: “This concubine can’t do it!”

His Majesty: “Haven’t I been giving my beloved consort a chance all along?”

After falling in love with His Majesty, Lin Yue became a thoroughly bewitching consort.

People everywhere said, “A bewitching consort dwells in Beichen Palace, with the allure of a fox and the beauty of an orchid fairy.”

Years later, the Regent finally realized that he hadn’t planted a bewitching consort spy beside the emperor. Instead, he’d helped reunite two lovers. But it was too late. He could almost hear the couple sharpening their knives and plotting to ambush him.

His Majesty: “I want to share a bed with Yue’er in life and share a grave with her in death.”

Lin Yue: “Your Majesty means...?”

His Majesty: “Be my empress.”
