Everyone thought that the aloof and refined Professor Shi Jinyan of N University, whose looks seemed to flirt all on their own, would spend his life devoted to academia, never even having a female mosquito by his side.
But then an anonymous passerby reported that the professor had waited all night outside the home of a certain girl whose details were unknown in every respect!
After extensive investigation, it turned out that this science-loving professor who believed in science had fallen for a female charlatan who believed in and loved ghosts...
Bystanders: Ha, is she really worth chasing? The moment the heartthrob crooks a finger, she'll come running.
But this is what actually happened:
The noble Professor Shi followed a petite, pretty-eyed girl for ages, finally seizing the chance to take her hand!
In an exceptionally gentle, aggrieved voice, he pleaded, "Please stop rejecting me."
The bystanders who had been tailing them: Holy crap, that is some character derailment...
Shi gave them a pointed look. The bystanders: Got it. In front of us, you're still the aloof type. We won't mess with you. :)
Shi Jinyan thought the world was plain and unremarkable, until one day a girl stopped him: "Professor Shi, could you come ghost-hunting with me?"
Only then did he realize that the world was boundless, and that the smiling girl before him was his destiny, the one love he had to hold on to.
#Shi Jinyan's feelings for Shen Sanran come with a serious "you'll see" warning. If you're patient, dear readers, wait for him to realize it himself.
#Shen Sanran is rather sensitive and distrustful of people early on, and tends to avoid them. That's probably the explanation for her characterization.

A cheerful, secure last-place finish: a handsome guy with a tragic expression x a happy little pauper who makes a bit of pocket money
A good-looking bad boy who's actually gentle, socially responsible, and laid-back, the campus heartthrob x a cute-faced girl who's actually ambitious, tough, and independent, a math whiz
When Shan Cheng had only been in her first year of high school for half a semester, her family fell on hard times. She had to travel from south to north and transfer to No. 8 High School.
As a transfer student, she sat by herself. Every day, the hour-and-a-half commute left her too sleepy to stay awake, and she had to sell paintings in the middle of the night to make ends meet.
Later, another transfer student arrived. The boy had a face that screamed "heartbreaker," so ridiculously handsome that everyone in class called him the hot guy.
But as his deskmate, Shan Cheng was entrusted with an important task:
Her homeroom teacher looked grave. "Do you know what Xi Yuwen's grades used to be like?"
Transfer student Shan Cheng sleepily shook her head.
"He used to be the top student in the whole province. So now, he needs your help!"
Shan Cheng stared at the teacher with bleary eyes, wondering what the hell he was talking about.
Later, looking at Xi Yuwen's blank exam paper, Shan Cheng couldn't help asking, "What kind of motorcycle hit you that night and turned you from the top student in the province into the worst student in the school?"
Xi Yuwen, sporting a face that could provoke outrage among gods and humans alike, drew a line and two wheels on the paper. "Something like this, I guess."
Shan Cheng, the master artist who sold paintings every night: ...
Everyone said Xi Yuwen was a lost cause and Shan Cheng was sure to fail, but they never saw Xi Yuwen cook for Shan Cheng just so his deskmate would eat properly, or Shan Cheng write exam after exam and mark them up just so Xi Yuwen could raise his grades by three points.
Shan Cheng got used to Xi Yuwen's cooking. "You're my fortune."
Xi Yuwen slowly got his wits back. "Then you're my riches."

Theme: To be added
Why is the heroine's character so...
I want to read Brother Shi's writing.
Then a great-grandson was born~
Caught off guard, there will be a shortage of books again (??`)
Sprinkle flowers!!! The author's health-preserving pen name is awesome!
I finished watching it, I thought it was over, but it turns out there is a sequel
The author is sure it's over, and it's over before we even fall in love.
The duck suddenly disappeared and I felt so disappointed.
In the 21st century, if you chase a girl and block the door, the professor is awesome Set up a flag (?????)っWatch three teaching videos and review one lesson tomorrow
Yang Jin treats the heroine's father as a life-exchange experiment. How cold and domineering the hero was before!!!!
