The story of Fang Qingqing is less about her love life than about her growth.
In the original outline, the person she met first, the one who taught her what love was, the one she loved with reckless abandon, might not be the one she ended up with.
In her youth, she missed her chance with Shen Xiaoya.
When she grew up, she met Cheng Jian, but nearly lost her, too. I never expected them to find each other again. How often does life offer such a convenient, perfect coincidence?
But the more I wrote according to that outline, the sadder I felt. So I hurriedly wrapped up the first part, the story with Shen Xiaoya. As for the second part, no matter what, I just couldn't bring myself to write it.
Reality is already so merciless. Why make things so hard for them in my writing, too?
I want to give this story a happy ending, like something out of a fairy tale.
