HP: Frigga's Generation [The Tales of Frigga]

The Frigga series tells the story of a girl named Frigga Perle Watson, nineteen years after the Battle of Hogwarts. After receiving her Hogwarts letter, she enters Slytherin and befriends Scorpius Malfoy, Albus Potter, and Loken Scamander, who appears in their third year. Together, they have adventures in the wizarding world.

* This is not a Slytherin-focused story. I simply wanted to see the wizarding world continue.

* The first-year structure imitates the plot structure of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone to give the story the rhythm of the original books. However, the story's core is entirely new, and from the second year onward it adopts a new narrative structure.

* Some descriptive passages are quoted from the original Harry Potter books.

* This story has no connection to The Cursed Child. The Cursed Child is an excellent work of fanfiction, but the author's understanding of the postwar wizarding world differs greatly from it, so these are two entirely different stories.

* The author is a level-ten scholar of the original books and an obsessive researcher. Where Rowling left details unspecified, I have made some additions of my own, all based on famous works of Western mythology, such as Celtic mythology and Faust.

* Although the main story follows the grandchildren's generation, starting in the third year with the arrival of Loken Scamander, Newt's great-grandson and Luna's son, the timeline will span a much longer period and include many Fantastic Beasts characters.

* There is romance, with about the same share of the story devoted to it as in the original books, perhaps a little more.

* I have tried to carry on Rowling's scope and vision, but this is only fanfiction, and it is difficult to match the original's intellectual depth. I simply wanted to use a story I love to explore some thoughts about reality.

* The story explores many topics mentioned but not explained in depth in the original books, including House-elf rights, the status of magical creatures, the lives of Death Eaters' descendants, and the ultimate conflict between wizards and Muggles.

* Please don't pressure me to update. Writing is not my day job, and I am not under contract. I'm writing out of love, and if I run out of steam, please don't guilt-trip me. If you want to encourage me to update, please leave a long comment.

* Some details about the Golden Key in this work draw on the culture of a country currently embroiled in controversy. This does not represent my political position. The Golden Key is explicitly presented in the story as a curse with negative implications. I firmly support my country's position and firmly support a two-state solution.
