The Adorable Detectives of the Jianghu

The max-level experts Shen He and Xie Chi have come down from the mountains.

Their first test after descending the mountain: a notorious highwayman from years ago, who after his brother's death took the name Zheng Sihai and went into hiding at the Zheng family estate in Quanzhou.

After getting beaten to a pulp, Zheng Sihai sobs, "Twenty years ago, everyone knew my name. I was the peerless, dashing swordsman who swept the Three Mountains and Five Peaks, leaving a trail of blood and chaos!"

Shen He: "Oh. So you're Liu Heizi, Liu Goudan, from Liu Family Village in Zhangzhou?!" One sword, KO.

The female lead ranks among the top three in martial arts. The male lead is better at strategy and mechanical arts. Both are strong.

First case:

*The Missing Girls of Guanyin Mountain

The prefect receives a report that several girls have gone missing. They are all between sixteen and twenty years old.

The last place they were seen was Guanyin Mountain.

Guanyin Mountain is a renowned pilgrimage site, with thirteen temples of varying sizes. The larger temples have hundreds of monks, and even the smaller ones have more than a dozen.

"It's natural to admire the young and beautiful, so they may well have gone to a temple to pray for... marriage."

"Which temple on Guanyin Mountain is the most effective for praying for marriage?"

"They say they're all effective."

"Then search every last inch of all thirteen temples."

"Take it easy with the digging. We need a plan for how to search. Ideally, we should solve this before the Flower Festival."

Second case:

*The Splendid Embroidery House

It has stood for two or three hundred years and is home to the finest embroiderers in the Central Plains. Their beautiful faces can be glimpsed beneath their thick veiled hats.

The current head of the Splendid Embroidery House is Madam Tang.

She was widowed at thirty, then lost six sons one after another. Now even her only grandson is at death's door.

Intention: Capture and eradicate the four scourges of the martial world.
