The main couple gets a sweet romance, but for him, it's a straight-up tragedy.
According to the plot, he and the main gong will date for a while, but two months later, after the main gong meets the main shou, he'll cruelly dump him. Then, amid everyone's ridicule, he'll leave for a distant place and spend the rest of his life in misery.
He transmigrates into the story while he's dating the main gong.
They see him holding flowers.
Everyone: "I heard he pestered Young Master Gu so much that in the end he had no choice but to buy him some flowers at the roadside."
They see him waiting for the bus alone.
Everyone: "He must have upset Young Master Gu. He couldn't stand it anymore, so he left him there."
They see him walking out of the movie theater alone.
Everyone: "I heard Young Master Gu is pursuing the young master of the Wu family. Guess he's gotten bored with him."
But
The flowers are a gift Gu Lin carefully picked out for Lin Zheng after turning down work to visit a flower shop himself.
He's waiting for the bus alone because Gu Lin upset him, and Lin Zheng refuses to get in Gu Lin's car. In the end, Gu Lin follows him in his car all the way.
He's leaving the movie theater alone because Lin Zheng said he was cold, so Gu Lin went back to the car to get his coat. While no one is watching, Gu Lin tenderly warms his beloved's hands and holds him in his arms to kiss him.
Everyone: "Wait, weren't we promised an angsty plot?!"
-
Although Gu Lin treats him well, Lin Zheng realizes that even if minor details change, the important plot points involving the main couple seem unchangeable. So he figures that two months later, when Gu Lin meets the main shou, he'll still dump him.
So Lin Zheng decides to act first. Just before Gu Lin meets the main shou, he'll dump Gu Lin, pack his things, and leave for a distant place.
One night, someone sees Lin Zheng leaving the Gu residence with a suitcase.
That person: "I told you. Young Master Gu was only playing with him. It makes sense he'd dump him once he got bored."

That person: "...Oh no. He hasn't gotten bored. He's carved that man into his very bones!"

Lin Qi's biological father was not explained clearly.
Both the front and back are very good, but the emotional transition period in the middle is too awkward. Personally, it seems a bit suffocating. Maybe a lighter emotion would be more interesting, but maybe the protagonist's character is like this. Overall, it is still sweet! Also, reading the comments reminded me of the foreshadowing pit, damn it ψ(`??)ψ
Well... How to put it, the content of the whole book is quite good, but there are some foreshadowings (probably foreshadowing) that have no results. For example, regarding Lin Qi's father, the article only says that Lin Qi's father gave Lin's father and Lin's mother 5 million, but there is no answer to the identity of Lin Qi's father and the person Wei Ya said who is very similar to Lin Qi. Is that person actually Lin Qi's father or brother...
No matter what, the author's writing style is still good, and I felt very good reading the whole article (also: I look forward to the author's new article [Comparison of Hearts?]).
