Yun Shu's path of cultivation is perfectly harmonious.
He has a gentle, thoughtful senior brother who always keeps an eye on him;
a mysterious, powerful sixth senior brother who never abandons him;
a domineering, overbearing Qin senior brother who only has eyes for him;
an older brother who never gives up searching for even the slightest trace of him;
and, beneath a pear tree in bloom, a young friend who only wants to follow in his footsteps.
But in the shadows beyond his sight,
his senior brother's spies watch, track, and control him like prey;
the jade coffin his sixth senior brother uses to refine corpse puppets always stands open for his body;
Qin senior brother is obsessed with the pain and wounds he personally inflicts on Yun Shu;
in the fragments of memory that vanished with death, his brother pours out the life-saving medicine and smiles as he waits for Yun Shu to die;
and his friend removes his gentle mask, revealing his ambition without restraint.
Yun Shu should have suffered a collapse of his Dao heart and lost all composure, yet he draws his long sword and smiles strangely.
"Sorry. I lied."
