The Wife I Picked Up

Master Qin was caught off guard and fell for a trap. Not only were his subordinates scattered, he was also seriously injured.

He staggered and passed out halfway up the mountain.

When he opened his eyes again, the first thing he saw was a roof with light leaking through it, walls that looked ancient, and a scant handful of pieces of furniture.

A young man in patched clothes stood before him, holding a bowl of pitch-black medicine with a chip in its rim.

Master Qin, accustomed to fine clothes and exquisite food, fell silent for a long moment, astonished and lost in thought.

This really is... a house with nothing in it.

F/F, 1v1. A clichéd, melodramatic trope, but I love it. Probably a sweet romance.
