[Crossover] My Shrine Is Always Being Invaded

Tsuruta Shinken is a shrine maiden.

Her greatest wish in life is to run her family's rundown shrine well, at least well enough to keep herself fed and clothed. Then she can sit around and wait to die.

But one day, all sorts of strange characters appear at the shrine, mercilessly shattering her dream of doing nothing and waiting to die.

Many years later

Tsuruta Shinken looks at the shrine, now thronged with worshippers, and gives a relieved but exhausted smile. "As expected, relying on yourself is better than relying on gods or spirits. None of the gods are dependable!"

An unnamed tsukumogami / an unreliable five-yen god / an unreliable great yokai from the Heian period: "Hey! Who are you calling unreliable?!"
