I Heard I’m Supposed to Get Married

"It's about time you got married." Since she turned twenty-five, those six words have followed Shi Wanwei everywhere.

She couldn't be bothered to tell anyone that she'd already decided to grow old alone.

Until her grandmother's birthday banquet, when everything changed.

Drunk, Shi Wanwei called her cheating ex and gave him a piece of her mind. Then he suddenly asked, "Do you want to get married?"

"Nooo," Shi Wanwei hiccupped.

"I mean the kind of marriage agreement you make to appease your family." "That sounds... pretty gooood."

And just like that, Shi Wanwei somehow ended up married.

Marriage Agreement, Article One: Shi Wanwei's house shall serve as the marital home. Unless invited or the visit is to appease their parents, Chen Yousu may not enter the residence without permission at any time. Article Two...

Mr. Chen looked at the three densely written pages of terms and felt a headache coming on. This prickly hedgehog really wasn't easy to fool.

"Mermaid Heroine in the Apocalypse"

Mermaid Qian Hu'er spends her days swimming, sleeping, and sunbathing.

Then the apocalypse arrives, and most sea creatures mutate and attack their own kind. Forced to retreat to a deserted island, Qian Hu'er's daily routine changes to fighting monsters, searching for food, sleeping, and sunbathing.

Later, a human is washed up by the sea in front of her little cave. From then on, Qian Hu'er's daily routine becomes taking care of a human, fighting monsters, searching for food, sleeping, and sunbathing. /// Qian Hu'er poked the unconscious human. "Human, I'm so hungry! I haven't had a proper meal in five days!"

"Grrrr~" Her stomach rumbled right on cue. Gazing at the human's handsome features, Qian Hu'er said, "If you don't wake up soon, I'll have to boil you and eat until I'm a fish stuffed to the gills!"

Wan Zixu, who had already woken up but still couldn't move, suddenly sat bolt upright as if on his deathbed. Mermaid, I think there's still hope for me!

"Mermaid Heroine in the Entertainment Industry"

While filming a show, rising star Jian Yunyan went fishing with local fishermen and caught a stone fish carved by hand.

Local legend says catching a stone fish is a sign of good luck and promises a happy marriage.

Jian Yunyan wasn't convinced, but took it home and casually set it on the bathroom sink.

After a nice, refreshing wash, Jian Yunyan turned around and saw a palm-sized mermaid staring with drool dripping from her mouth...
