The protagonist has dissociative identity disorder. Before being reborn, his kind and sensitive dominant personality was killed. After being reborn, he is missing parts of his personality, and a purely rational personality comes forward alongside a whole host of mad ones.
He sets out on a path of punishing scumbags, exacting revenge, and destroying the world along the way, until he becomes king.
But everything is derailed by a deathbed request, and someone who doesn't know when to quit comes on the scene.
When the shou opens his eyes, the gong is leaning by the bed. Shou: "...What are you trying to do?"
Gong: "I'm giving you plenty of company. I heard rebellious behavior during puberty is a sign of not getting enough love." The violent personality comes out, and the shou silently pulls out a kitchen knife.
Couple: A cold, severely dissociative, beautiful young shou paired with an older gong trying to make him normal.
