On the morning of September 6, Park Eunmin boarded the KTX406 high-speed train bound for Busan with the other passengers. No one noticed the strange woman who had gotten on board; everyone was going about their business in an orderly fashion. Then the woman who had rushed aboard fainted, only to suddenly scramble onto a train attendant's back and bite them. Everyone aboard fought back desperately. Just as the infected attacked Park Eunmin, a surgeon surnamed Kim saved her. The two moved from place to place with the other survivors, and amid the hardships of their flight, they fell in love.
