Sunny Days in Dali

#The Growth Story of an Organic Farm Owner in Dali#

Chen Yu'an said, "You're a real mango tree in my orchard."

Xu Xinyi was puzzled. A mango tree? Why not a lychee tree or a durian tree? A coconut tree would work too. She's allergic to mangoes!

Later, Xu Xinyi realized that Chen Yu'an wasn't just passing through her life. He was her sunny day.

.

On the eve of her wedding, her boyfriend of ten years chose to break up with her, plunging Xu Xinyi into a long, painful heartbreak.

A friend suggested she take a vacation in Dali and give herself some time to start over.

Xu Xinyi flew to Dali, only to be greeted by a downpour as soon as she landed, followed by one disaster after another:

A shady cab driver scammed her, the power and water went out while she was showering, she twisted her ankle, got into a fight and ended up at the police station, and her electric scooter was stolen...

Every day, she swore that tomorrow she would leave this dump for good!

But the day she planned to leave kept getting pushed back.

With help from Chen Yu'an, the owner of a guesthouse, she gradually settled into life in Dali, made a group of adorable friends, and witnessed the struggles in other people's lives.

Later, she discovered that she had grown attached to this land.

Before coming to Dali: A PowerPoint whiz, a department director, and a daily grind of packed subways and 996 overtime.

After coming to Dali: Rented 200 mu of land, built an organic farm, and even snagged a boyfriend.

I hope the days ahead are all sunny.
