A Novice Mage's Internship Journal

Su Mu, whose family has practiced traditional Chinese medicine for generations, suddenly encounters the sorcerer's apprentice Shu Tongzi, who has fixed the "gateway that pierces the world" on a chair.

Bai Zhu, a sorcerer's apprentice from the Three Mountains of Penglai, smashes an antique plum vase in Su Mu's home, and the demonic Blood River sealed inside is unleashed!

Their pet myna transforms into a handsome young man in black and calls Su Mu's grandfather, the old physician Su Tianxiong, "Master." Just who are they?

The ten great sorcerers of the Three Mountains of Penglai, marked with purple seals, know the will of Heaven, command ghosts and gods, and subdue a hundred demons. Yet Su Mu and Bai Zhu are drawn into entanglements with them...

All the sorcerers regard the Blood River as their enemy, but then it is suddenly slain by a monster...
