I realized something pretty frustrating: if I keep writing like this, the heroine might very well turn evil. I don't know if any of you have noticed, but I've been describing her inner thoughts less and less. Her childhood wasn't exactly happy, and after a whole series of events, she ends up in an extremely repressed state. Since the world (the author) hasn't treated her kindly, she's already teetering on the edge of becoming evil, haha. That wasn't the original setup, but somehow it turned out this way. Maybe it's because my writing is easily influenced by my mood.
I thought about how the plot might develop. If the heroine eventually turns evil and becomes the villain, while Lan Yueyang gets the protagonist treatment, things could get pretty amusing. I haven't updated these past few days partly because the New Year has brought on a bout of laziness, but also because I don't know how to write what comes next. So this book is going on hiatus too. Maybe I'll figure it out someday. I'm really sorry to everyone who added it to their collections. I hope to see you again in my next book.
Lastly, I want to say to Chen Fenshu: I really wish I had an older sister like you. Sister Shu is the coolest person in my heart. I want to write you breaking free from confusion and pressing forward bravely through raging storms. May you always remain as wonderful as you are.
