[Mononoke] The Daoist Is Hunting Demons Again Today

Knowing heaven and earth does not mean knowing the ways of the world. You can calculate the future and change fate, yet still fail to read a person's heart.

Xie Chen is a Taoist priest. His daily routine is catching demons, catching demons, and catching demons, until one day people notice that the usually solitary, aloof Priest Xie has gained a traveling companion, and that this person is no ordinary sort, either.

He has wandered alone in the mortal world for a hundred years, ageless, deathless, and beyond the cycle of reincarnation.

Why did he come here, and where is he headed?

I don't know. I don't know.

Why should I know? What does it matter what happened before? Right now, I'm just a Taoist priest who knows how to exorcise demons.

The priest was once a member of Chunyang Palace. Now he is an exorcist who knows all sorts of strange Taoist and ghost arts. There probably won't be many scenes featuring Chunyang techniques. This is an Anime Crossover. The pairing is with Medicine Seller. Some supernatural and ghost stories may differ from the legends and original works, with some changes of my own.

A crossover of various series. So far: Jian Wang 3, Onmyoji, Inuyasha.

This story is complete. My next work, now open for advance follows: Yui x Kichibei, "The Daily Life of an Excellent Housewife."
