My next novel will be After the Divorce, My Ex-Husband Lost His Memory, in the same series as this one. Please add it to your reading list!
My historical romance, A Life of Delicate Favor, is also updating alongside this one.
From the day Shu Yan was brought into the Shu family and given her new name, she knew the Shu and Ji families had an informal engagement, and that the arrogant boy before her would become her younger sister's husband.
Ji Linghan, the second son of the Ji family, was a gifted young man, domineering and spoiled from childhood. Whenever he looked at her, his gaze seemed full of disdain. He never called her by name, only "little mute."
The two grew up together but were never close. Later, however, they became inextricably entangled.
Ji Linghan lost a leg for her. She stayed by his side to repay him, to atone, and for her own selfish reasons...
On the third night after Shu Yan had accomplished what she came to do and left Ji Linghan, a drunken Ji Linghan knocked on her door, eyes bloodshot, looking aggrieved as he gritted his teeth.
"Little mute, try abandoning your husband and child again, and see what happens!"
"..."
Shu Yan instinctively touched her flat stomach. Knowing she was in the wrong, she said nothing and let him in.
[The heroine simply doesn't talk much. She's not actually mute!]
My next novel will be After the Divorce, My Ex-Husband Lost His Memory. Here's the blurb:
Ruan Qingyan's marriage to Ji Lingyan lasted only two years. They married out of necessity, and their divorce came naturally.
The reason she insisted on a divorce was simple: Ji Lingyan didn't love her, yet he was trapped by the chains of marriage because of her.
Over the course of their two-year marriage, he did his best, and she did hers, but their relationship still reached its end.
The first time they met after the divorce was at the hospital. Ji Lingyan woke up after being gravely injured and looked at her with fury. He followed her out of the ward, then trapped her in front of him inside the elevator.
Ruan Qingyan found him inexplicable. Unable to push him away, she gave up and asked, confused, "What are you doing?"
"You kept saying you loved me, then turned around and got together with someone else. Was it fun to play me? Believe me, I'll make you regret it!" he snarled.
Watching Ji Lingyan's handsome face twist with anger, Ruan Qingyan calmly said one thing.
"Ji Lingyan, we're divorced already."
Ji Lingyan froze for a moment, then snapped, "Ruan Qingyan, what game are you playing now?"
Ruan Qingyan didn't want to waste her breath. She took out the divorce certificate she'd been carrying and showed it to him.
After confirming it, Ji Lingyan looked lost. "When did we get married?"
Ruan Qingyan: "..."
What should I do? My ex-husband lost his memory and won't leave me alone. Asking online, it's kind of urgent...
Theme:
This timeline can fly. It feels like it speeds up dozens of times if you don't want to write.
Wasn't the original heroine named Jiang Yuan when her ex-husband lost his memory?
To be honest, I really can't feel that the heroine has changed even a little bit towards the hero, and the lying state of the corpse throughout the whole process is dispensable. Being mentally ill is no excuse. Feelings are a matter of two people.
After reading these chapters, the supporting characters are so disgusting. . People from the Shu family (except Shu Nian), the hero's mother, and Mr. Ji
I haven't seen enough of Jiang Yi hahahahahaha
Is it two first loves and two places? Is there any emotional entanglement between the male protagonist and his sister?
Why is it in the middle,,, eight years later?
Why is it eight years later?
I saw that the title of the chapter is "Breakup" and I haven't dared to read it. Wow.
I feel like the heroine has been making excuses for herself because of her character flaws, won't she learn to change?
